• UCSF networks security exemptions
  • Elaine's office iMac security exemption for old macOS pending.
  • TomG mentioned that cygwin install on new Windows 11 VR machine in vizvault failed ("could not find mirrors") on ethernet or UCSF WPA wifi, but worked on UCSF guest.

• Backups for Wynton update
  • Wynton will be down for maintenance Oct 30 - Nov 3
  • Tom Ferrin suggests doing full RBVI backup right before that. Eric agrees.

• ChimeraX paper
  • Tom Ferrin submitted the revised ChimeraX paper including high resolution images.
  • Figure 8 nucleotides image is spartan.

• Greg work in progress ​Slides
  • Setting up ProofPoint on wynton.ucsf.edu, compbio, rbvi.org part of Wynton audit.
  • For RBVI audit adding mail filter to undo urldefense mangling for selected urls (e.g. ChimeraX Trac bug reports).
  • Certificates from Let's Encrypt auto-updating, and moved from beegfs to local file system to avoid node restart timing issues.
  • ChimeraX flatpak downloaded 30 times.
  • Updating Toolshed to use new PyPi web repository standards.
