• Chimera web services port
  • Eric ported all Chimera Opal web services to use ChimeraX REST services.
  • Also ported chemical component dictionary (CCD) template lookup to use RCSB.
  • Needs to test if session restore with web services work.
  • Will put changes into Chimera daily build.
  • Make new Chimera release after several weeks in daily build.

• Zach ​presentation
  • DICOM: Scooter suggst downloading Cancer Image Archive (TCIA) database and systematically testing if dicom files can be opened. Observed traceback and black volume rendering.
  • Splunk web service usage viewer seems to need root access. Greg will help.

• CGL mail with ProofPoint filtering
  • UCSF IT wants CGL incoming email to use ProofPoint filtering.
  • CGL will be able to tailor their own ProofPoint console.
  • Some labs having trouble with ProofPoint silently discarding email, Sali, Agard.
  • Longterm UCSF IT wants to eliminate CGL email and have everyone use UCSF Microsoft Exchange.
  • ChimeraX project uses email for Trac ticket user comments and uses email for user help mailing list.
  • Could migrate Trac to Jira cloud solution in the future.
  • Could migrate mailing list to cloud. Does Sali lab host Modeller mailing list with ProofPoint.
