• Tristan and Altos work on ISOLDE virtual reality and OpenMM
  • Tristan says Altos is interested in supporting VR for ISOLDE and OpenMM improvements.
  • Our lab could get funds or they could hire someone.
  • We suggested Tristan consider Hamish Todd in Cambridge for doing VR work.
  • We will discuss in developer meeting what OpenMM improvements and VR improvements could be undertaken by Altos and later report to Tristan. Or maybe have Tristan join initial discussion.

• Security audit
  • Tom Ferrin says proceeding slowly
  • Many parties involved and some are concerned (Michelle Arkin dept chair) and some unconcerned.

• ChimeraX R01 NIH council meeting
  • Council meeting is on September 15, 2022 and following day
  • Tom Ferrin guesses they have 200 grants to consider, so most get no discussion.
  • After Council meeting, program project officers can influence budget and decide award.

  • Tom G signed up for workshop November 1-4.
