• Network problems
  • The .27 subnet was down this morning. Lab web sites, plato unreachable.
  • Appears .27 network has unexpected dependency on N108 power.
  • Should only require Byers 101 to get .27.
  • Subnet .27 comes to N453 via N108.
  • UPS put in bypass mode while power was off. Power came back on and UPS tripped.
  • Discussion of moving "alex" machine from N108 to N453.

  • Have green light to post as an academic position.
  • Tom Ferrin will look through paperwork.

• Phenix R24 meeting
  • First was held this morning
  • Monthly meetings will be 2nd Thursday of month 10 AM

    • Chimera session converter to ChimeraX - Eric and TomG
    • Port multi-sequence alignment and homology - Zach and Eric

    • Replace OpenGL graphics with Vulkan. Hamish could work on this if hired.
    • Distribute a native ChimeraX for Mac ARM CPUs.
    • Develop a PyPi library to distribute non-UI components of ChimeraX.
  • Scooter will say we will make best effort on Vulkan, and meet other goals.
