* Redis for cxservices on plato
  - Zach wants redis, an in-memory key-value database on plato for cxservices.
  - Zach willing to do system admin.  Scooter says not possible unless he is part of Wynton admin team.
   - Some complexity to make sure redis runs on same node as cxservices.

* Job offer
  - Offer letter to Hamish awaiting lawyer approval
  - TomF changed wording slightly that position is part of UAW Researchers union, formerly said just part of UAW (United Auto-Workers) which seemed confusing.

* Apple M1 talk for CZI
  - CZI talk is for other software developers
  - TomG gave 7 minute practice talk on ChimeraX port to Apple M1
  - Other talks in session are on 3D Slicer, a medical imaging app, on internationalization, and two talks on Fiji (GPU accel and large image data).
  - M1 Pro GPU was same speed as 2019 top end MacBook Pro AMD Vega 20 graphics.
  -  M1 Pro has 16 GPU cores versus 8 GPU cores for M1 and is exactly twice as fast rendering in ChimeraX.
  -  M1 Max has 32 GPU cores.  Was not on display at SF or Stonestown Apple stores, so TomG could not test it.

* Dicom browser
  - Might talk to 3D Slicer developers at CZI meeting to help our DICOM effort.
  - Might be able to borrow from their dicom metadata browser.
  - Scooter suggests that Zach take on our NIAID project to add a dicom metadata browser to ChimeraX.
  - TomG wants to work on 3d volume lighting and VR for dicom data, an area where we can do better than established dicom apps like 3D Slicer.

* Web viewer for gltf
  - Jan Baumbach asked about exporting protein dimer for 3D web browser.
  - Scooter thinks MolStar is overkill, probably gltf in a 3D viewer adequate.
  - Elaine asks about WebGL output from Chimera.  Not currently in ChimeraX.  Greg says difficult to port.
