• Previous action items:
  • ChimeraX license
    • Lawyer may want UCOP to review
    • "Permitted uses" expanded to define "improvements" vs. "extensions"
    • Improvements changes our copyrighted code. Should not be able to redistribute.
    • Extensions are original code not involving copyrighted code. License does not apply to extensions.
    • Distribute non-copyrighted "sample extensions" as starting points for developers. Sample extensions must be distributed under a different license and/or not copyrighted.
  • PyQt5 5.7 fixed Linux problem
  • Conrad emailed Ben to get on the monthly phone calls for IHM
  • Conrad fixed typos and stuff in download page
  • Building Chimera 1 on 10.11 works if MACOSX_DEPLOYMENT_TARGET is set to 10.8. Setting it to 10.9 compiles but does NOT run.

    • Qt5.7 was supposed to FIX this problem, but we saw it starting with 5.7
    • Waiting to see if anyone reports it
• Command line parsing for commands with file names
  • How do we fix "save #1 /tmp/x" and "save ~/Desktop/x format session"
    • In both cases, the "model spec" is screwing up parsing
  • Workaround is to put model spec second
    • "save /tmp/x #1"
    • "save ~/Desktop/x [optional model spec missing] format session"

• TomF will get answers for ChimeraX license
• Greg will investigate problem with Linux Qt hanging system
• Conrad and TomG will start attending IHM monthly meetings immediately, irrespective of any data sets received from Ben
  • Conrad will email Ben to get on the monthly phone calls for IHM
• Conrad will fix download page generator to remove 32-bit daily builds
  • Remove "(including El Capitan)"
  • Replace "lat1r" with "later"
