• Greg demoed Chimera2 launch and display of a simple STL file
• Conrad has finally gotten the Tool Shed to build -- can now start testing
• What's core, what's a tool
  • Some discussion, but agreed that Command Line is a tool
  • STL will be a tool

What needs to be done next

1. Tool Shed (Conrad)
2. Model class, etc. (Greg)
   1. For February will focus on model-level operations
   2. Current thinking is that Model will be a sub-class of Drawing, but Drawing shouldn't depend on the OpenGL context
3. Mouse modes (from Chimera 1 or from Hydra) (Eric, hard coded for now)
   1. Bring over Hydra mouse modes for now
   2. Focus on basic rotate, translate, and scale
   3. Will do selection a little later
4. Graphical data for molecular data (Eric & Tom)
   1. Needs to be decided if the graphical data is going to be merged into the molecular data structures or be separate
