    1 A user had a simialr issue in #6176 where they couldn't connect to our backend to get update notifications. Usually if you curl {{{webservices.rbvi.ucsf.edu}}} you get "Go away"; this is working on HTTPS but not HTTP. Perhaps there is a problem with the redirect we set up. Can you check into it, Greg?
