    1 I tried unplugging display as was done in this crash a dozen times with 3 different displays (UHD with usb3 to display port cable, HD display with hdmi cable, 4K TV display with hdmi cable) and different cables with mirroring and without, with ChimeraX 1.8 and daily build.  It never crashed.  I always put gave either a terminal or Safari the focus.  Sometimes I waited a minute, sometimes I set the display to sleep after 1 minute then unplugged after it slept.  Never crashed ChimeraX.
