I'm sorry, the Matrix graphics is more of a hindrance than a help. It
uses the software only OpenGL driver, Mesa, to do its 3D drawing. And
the easiest way to get a newer version of Mesa on your system is to
update it to OpenSUSE 13.2 or the latest Ubuntu. If you have the option
of installing an AMD or NVIDIA graphics card in your system, do so, and
install the proprietary driver. It will be like going from walking to
driving a car -- much faster, and you can buy a budget car, a regular
car, or race car, depending on your budget. :-)
