You can use the Camera tool (Stereo) to make Chimera show either a  
cross- or wall-eyed stereo view.  You don't need special glasses to  
use those modes, but you do need to be able to cross or unfocus your  
eyes (respectively) to get the two images to merge.  Some people have  
difficulty doing that.  The other stereo modes mentioned on the page I  
linked to do require special glasses, and are described in detail on  
that page.
