[Chimera-users] Volume save after volume changes

Hi Elaine,
What about hideDust? I was trying to resample a selected surface that had hide dust alterations to it. Would this also only be a display setting too then; therefore, I could not hide dust then resample. That is what I am trying to accomplish, but the alteration does not seem to save.
Best,

Hi Ryan,
Changing the isosurface contour level is not changing the map. It’s analogous to opening an atomic structure from the PDB and then changing its coloring…. just a display setting, not an alteration of the underlying data, and these display settings aren’t part of the formats in which the data are saved.
I hope this helps,
Elaine
