Hi Mark,
The Chimera Python should not be affected by other Python
installations. Chimera explicitly ignores the standard Python
environment variables. But we may have missed one. Please send us a
bug report using the Help / Report A Bug... menu entry. That will tell
us what kind of computer you have and which graphics driver.
Unfortunately, in this case, the environment variables are not part of
the report. To send the environment variables, run the cmd program,
type "set" (without quotes and press the Return/Enter key afterwards),
then right mouse click to Select All of the text, then in the
Description part of the Chimera bug submission dialog, type Control-V to
paste in the selected text. Then submit the bug.
