Hi Tanja,
In Chimera, I believe the commands move the objects, not the camera, but otherwise it can be done using the commands "perframe" (to do some things at every frame), "turn" (to rotate around Y axis) and "copy" (to save the image file).

For example, the following saves PNG files named 001.png, 002.png, ... 022.png as a structure is rotated in 2° increments about the Y axis:
perframe "turn y 2; copy png file ~/Desktop/$1.png" frames 22 zero 3
