It may be that you downloaded the 32-bit version but only have the 
64-bit runtime libraries installed or vice-versa.  If you run "uname -m" 
in a terminal, it should print x86_64 if you have a 64-bit version of 
Linux.  Please send me the full error message and I may be able to say more.
