  1. Command line use of sequences - YZ/Scooter
    • Modeller tool command line must be able to name sequences specifically
    • If the main purpose if for Cytoscape-Chimera link, is it better to run Modeller on Cytoscape side?
  2. Atom specifier for surface pieces - TomG
    • Conrad will review OSL code and report on how to hook into parser
  3. Update embedded software - Conrad
    • Python 2.7 - Greg
      • TomG is looking into subprocess module changes that broke msms
    • freetype 2.4 - Greg
    • matplotlib font cache - flush font cache if you get traceback
  4. Update chimera/1.4.1/stereo.html
    • Where should this page be in web site?
    • What else needs to be on this page?
    • More generally, what are our graphics recommendations?
    • TomG will make a "index" wiki page for hardware recommendations that point to other mail messages, web pages, etc. and fix up stereo.html to point to the index page
  5. 1.5 release schedule - Conrad
    • Loose ends
      • Windows 64-bit build
      • Side view layout
      • Default Mac distribution (Cocoa vs Aqua) (X11 as alternative?)
      • CMS
    • September 1 freeze date
    • TomG, Elaine and Eric will review Cocoa bug list
  6. Distributing IMP code with Chimera - TomG
    • Local vs web service
    • Local option - better performance, more work to build and distribute
    • Web service - single build, simpler licensing?
    • Strategic decision needs presence of TomF and Scooter
    • YZ will get details on IMP license terms
  7. CIF2 - Conrad
    • Move to CIF2 when mmCIF is upgraded
    • TomG will scan CIF2 document to see if there's anything interesting
