Action Items

• Greg: test Tk8.6src for Windows and Linux builds
• TomG: design command line syntax for scripts
• Scooter: add new search to display only "active" tickets
• Greg: make Chimera build use system Python 2.x when Chimera version is not available

Items

1. Release 1.4.1 status
   • Release 1.4.1 is out and there is a News item
   • New PDF manual was made
2. Chimera builds
   • Programming examples documentation is not being made on socrates because there is no Python
   • Greg will fix it
3. Image saving
   • User reports that daily build (1.5) works on Mac with FX4500
   • OSMESA still needs work since image saving frequently generates images with incorrect scale
4. Lighting interface
   • We will all try out the new interface and discuss it at next meeting
5. Subdivision
   • Greg will fix sticks so that they do not degrade to triangular cross section too early
   • New default subdivision quality will be the equivalent of current value of 1.5
   • Auto-increase of subdivision quality during printing will be removed; using multi-sampling already increases it
   • Eric will need to update presets so that the interactive value matches new default
