* ChimeraX 1.8 release candidate schedule

* Make Chimera end-of-life bug report and registration changes for 1.18 release in Spring 2024.
* Back up the Chimera build machine to a solid state drive, Windows 7.
* ChimeraX Ideas milestone clean-up.

= Discussion =

* Selina metal ion ChimeraX tool
  - Eric is answering Selina's emailed questions about how to program GUI table for metal ion tool.
  - Selina joined this meeting but will wait for email response.

* ChimeraX 1.8 release candidates
  - Greg will make ChimeraX 1.8 release candidate today or tomorrow and branch source.
  - Eric will look at if render by attribute ticket is complete for 1.8.
  - Greg and Zach have several tickets milestoned for 1.8 they will look over, close or remilestone.

* Trac account for Utz Ermel
  - Web script to add Trac accounts for ChimeraX outside developers gives internal server error.
  - Script is using Python 2.
  - Scooter told Greg how to make an ldap entry and kerberos identity using command-line to add an account for Utz.
  - Eric wants to update ChimeraX Wiki page to document this process.

* Git flow for ChimeraX
  - Zach asks how master branch is updated during release.
  - Greg explained how we mostly follow "git flow" except for not merging into develop.
  - Greg suggests Zach and reset master to 1.7.1.
