* NAS plato disk
  - Scooter got two optical 10 Gbit network connections.
  - Will work on hooking it up this week and next.
  - Might copy over /mol/database first.

* Two new GPUs on Wynton through NRBB
  - 12 Nvidia L40S GPUs, newer version of A40.

* Minsky won't boot
  - Selina wants to use minsky for machine learning.
  - Scooter suggests Greg boot it off a rescue disk.

* ScholAR release
  - Piet made ScholAR 1.0 toolshed bundle

* Nobel prize in Chemistry
  - AlphaFold developers and RosettaFold David Baker won

* Open house for Genentech 4A neighborhood
  - New faculty have moved in.
  - In December, maybe a Monday or Thursday, there will be an in-person neighborhood gathering.

* ChimeraX 1.9 branched
  - Zach made 1.9 branch

* ChimeraX on Linux ARM
  - Zach got ChimeraX working on Linux ARM on Rasberry Pi
  - Has graphics limitations.

* Animation tool
  - Piet has prototype animation tool he can demonstrate.

* ChimeraX training
  - Tom G gave 90 minute tutorial toPurdue structural biology and biophysics club.
  - In January Tom G will give 5 days of ChimeraX and machine learning methods tutorials to macromethods course students at UCSF.

* Eric work in progress
  - Fitting with emplace local can omit already fit regions.
  - Improvements to fit ligand.
  - Next want to show multiple fitting solutions.

* Trac
  - Chimera Trac moved to mariadb from sqlite
  - Will move ChimeraX Monday if Chimera Trac shows no problems.
  - Greg made email2trac give temporary error if making ticket fails so mail will try again.
