* New group meeting time
  * Group meeting changed to 11 AM Thursday to allow time for lunch.

* Vaccine distribution
  * Scooter volunteering.
  * Up to 1 person vaccinated every minute at Mission Hall in Mission Bay.

* Chimera 
  * Eric will remove the !AutoDock Vina web interface from Chimera daily build.
  * Eric will spend no more than a day trying to fix the Chimera RMF linking problem.

* ChimeraX
  * We stick with Qt 5.15.2 for now.
  * Qt license for 3 developers is $12,000 per year.
  * Would be desirable to switch to the qt python module shim that handles either !PyQt or !PySide.  Tom will look at this is feasible.
  * Tom Ferrin says UC Tech Transfer and UCOP agreed to public ChimeraX source code on !GitHub.
  * TomG sent email to Chris Swain proposing workshop ideas on Dec 17 but he has not replied.

* NETE
  * Next contract areas: VR, HuBMAP, segmentation
  * Possibly continued support for NIH 3D pipeline if needed.
  * We need to draft a new contract in cooperation with Darrell by February 15.
  * We will need to make a "task order", and hope to have funding start March 1.

* U24
  * Possible funding mechanism for ChimeraX.
  * U24 allows engineering and support.  It is a contract rather than a grant.
  * Recent funding application for Cytoscape was an NIGMS U24.  Do not have results yet.
  * Ask if NIAID has U24 RFA, see if other NIH institutes have U24.  If NIAID, could continue working with Darrell BCBB projects through a U24.

* VPN
  * Scooter is using VPN on linux.  Having Alex try to set it up.  Still needs to write setup instructions.
  * VPN is seeing significant use.
  * Next VPN step is to try to setup Duo 2-factor authentication using a shim in front of Radius server.  Scooter will try this although it will disrupt VPN use.  Apparently you request the type of 2-factor authentication (push, text, ubikey) by putting a ",push" after your password.

* Backups
  * In event of a ransomware attack we need tape backup index files and software to be able to restore from tape.  Eric will make a tar file with those and it will be distributed to different safe locations.
  * Eric will make a shell script to run backups from cron.  Currently many commands in cron.  This will allow Eric to adjust script.
  * Discussion of whether additional plato directories beyond /etc should be backed up.
