Comment:

 You are using old ChimeraX version 0.93.  The current version is ChimeraX
 1.1 and very likely does not have the reported bug because the ribbon
 flip_mode variable that is causing the problem does not even exist in the
 version 1.1 code.  Please update ChimeraX.
