[Chimera-users] Question regarding 2dlabels in Chimera

An alternative is to use unicode subscript and superscript characters.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unicode_subscripts_and_superscripts.
You should be able to copy & paste what you need from that web page.
With the caveat that Chimera's label font doesn't support all of those
characters.
For example:
2dlabels create l1 xpos .5 ypos .5 text hello¹
works.
