Dear Eric Pettersen, thank you for the quick response.
Yes, I could do it like that; I asked because such a procedure can take a lot of time, if one has several programs to install.
Anyway, I will use scp as you suggested. Thank you again, sincerely, Konstantin.

Hi Konstantin,
I don't believe there is such a method, since we require agreement to the click-through license agreement before the download. Don't you have access to the web on your home machine? If you need to get Chimera onto some server machine at work it seems that you could just download it to your home machine and then scp it to the server. Would this not work for you?

Greetings
My name is Konstantin Mavridakis, and I am part of the molecular and computational modeling group at the HITS institute at Heidelberg.
The group is considering updating to the latest production release of chimera. Due to the covid pandemic, all my work is being done remotely right now via ssh; so, I am writing to you to ask if there is a way of downloading the latest production release of chimera using a link for curl or wget.
Thank you very much for your time, sincerely, Konstantin Mavridakis
