Hi Ricardo,
Your software sounds interesting!  I don't know of any impediment (at least from Chimera’s side) to making a connector between Ligplot+ and Chimera and sharing it with others.

How to cite Chimera in publications and posters is described here:

However, if you just want to know what to put on your website with the software:
Several other groups have developed Chimera plugins or programs that write files for input to Chimera.  They each have some website or github location for using or downloading their own software that also includes
(a) a description of their software and how it works with Chimera, and 
(b) a link to the Chimera website: <http://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimera/index.html>

So if you are thinking about what to put on your website with your software, I believe (a) and (b) above would be fine.
