Hi Michał,
In commands you can save positions with “savepos” and restore them gradually over several frames with “reset”… so there is positional interpolation without too much trouble. There are also several other commands that take a “frames” option to occur over several image update frames, like “move” for translation and “roll” for rotation and “scale” to zoom in and out. See the list of movie-related commands and links to example scripts in the “Making Movies” page:

However, it is still some work to include hiding/showing and changing colors at the right places in your script, and using “2dlabels” to change your 2D labels if you have any.
