[Chimera-users] Map to CCP4 Style Mask

Hi Martin,

  The vop threshold Chimera command can set all the map values below a specified density level to 0, and all the values above that level to 1 creating a mask.  For example,

vop threshold #0 min 6.5 set 0 max 6.5 setmax 1

Then you can save the new map to a file with Volume Viewer menu entry File / Save Map... or command

vol #1 save ~/Desktop/mask.mrc
