[Chimera-users] ImportError: libGL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory - Error shown when trying to run xdg-setup or chimera (Linus Ubuntu)

Hi Hannah,

  There error means Chimera cannot find a graphics driver on your system (I guess you are on Linux).  Almost everyone runs 64-bit Linux now, not 32-bit so maybe the problem would be resolved if you use 64-bit Chimera.  We recommend 64-bit versions for all users.  If it still doesn’t work, the trick is to install a graphics driver on your computer, which can be Mesa.
