Hi Arthur,
Maybe you chose “stereo JPEG” in the Image Save dialog? Those “stereo JPEG” and “stereo PNG” files are interpreted by special 3D viewing programs like JPSViewer. For your purposes, instead use command “stereo wall” … then the Chimera graphics window should look like what you want, and you would choose “Image type: same as screen” in the Image Save dialog. Command “stereo mono” will put the view back to normal.
