Hi Arthur,
Glad you figured out how to color ribbons and atoms separately.

As for the dashed lines to Mg, there are several possible ways to do the same thing.  I’ll just mention two of the ways...

(A) Ctrl-click to select one of the dashed lines, then press keyboard up arrow to select all of the metal coordination pseudobonds.  Click the green magnifying glass on the lower right corner of the Chimera window to open the “selection inspector,” and in that window set  “displayed” status of the selected pseudobonds to “false"

(B) command to hide all pseudobonds:  setattr p display 0
(that’s a zero at the end, not the letter o)
