[Chimera-users] PC shut down automatically while using Chimera

Chimera does not know how to shutdown computers, so I agree that it's probably a hardware issue.  And it's more likely to be a problem with your graphics card than your CPU.  My guess is that it is a lack of cooling problem, so a blocked or broken fan somewhere, but it could be a bad or inadequate power supply, a buggy graphics card, bad memory, etc.  On Windows, check the event logs for information about what's going wrong, and on Linux, check the log files.
