[Chimera-users] opening a .dx format file as a volume file?

Hi Dave,
Even though opening a .dx file will initially bring up the tool for electrostatic surface coloring, you can just dismiss that tool, open Volume Viewer (in menu under Tools… Volume Data).  In the Volume Viewer dialog, click the small oval that’s supposed to be somewhat reminiscent of an eye to display an isosurface, and proceed as you would for other types of volume data.
