[Chimera-users] Chimera Shutting Down

Hi,
I am using the Chimera Linux 64-bit (chimera-alpha-linux_x86_64.bin), and Chimera shuts down when I try to open the Side View option. I tried the workaround mentioned here: http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-users/2013-April/008765.html but it is not working for me.

OS: Ubuntu 12.04
Version of Chimera: Linux 64-bit Daily Build (Mar 24, 2014)


For what it's worth, on another computer where I am running Ubuntu 12.10, with Chimera Linux 64-bit Daily Build (July 10, 2013), I did not have this problem.
Is there another workaround that I could do to open the side view?
