Hi George,
Try saving the image with supersampling (say 3x3) and maybe also higher resolution (more pixels). These are settings in the Image Save dialog and don't affect the interactive view.  There is also "multisample" (see Tools... Viewing Controls... Effects) but it is mainly for the interactive view, and also may be unavailable depending on your computer.

I mention the above because you said "jagged."  There is also another setting of how many planar facets are used to draw ribbons, but that is automatically raised when you save an image, so it's probably not your issue.  Just in case, however, it is the "subdivision" parameter in Effects (same place as "multisample").  Raising this will make spheres, ribbons, etc. smoother because they are drawn with more smaller facets, but it may also decrease performance depending on your computer and how much stuff is displayed.
