[Chimera-users] Issues with characters on command line (OS X 10.9)

Another thing to try out is using the X Windows version of Chimera.  It's in the "Unsupported Releases" section of the download page.  Also, in About This Mac if you get a System Report and look under USB, what kind of keyboard do you have?
