[Chimera-users] Pythonw.exe and DEP

Unfortunately, we do not have a Vista machine to test on anymore.

Have you tried running pythonw.exe directly (eg from a console window)? 
  Chimera consists of two parts: a launcher (CHIMERA/bin/chimera.exe) 
and the Python interpreter (CHIMERA/bin/pythonw.exe).  Double-clicking 
on the chimera icon runs the launcher which sets up some system 
parameters and then invokes the Python interpreter.  I'm wondering which 
part is failing, the launcher or the interpreter.
