[Chimera-users] Problem of Launching Chimera Remotely on a Mac

Hi Andy,

Your error message means the two machines you are using cannot remotely display OpenGL using X windows because of incompatible graphics drivers. It has nothing to do with Chimera. Specifically the error says the NV-GLX (nvidia glx) extension is missing on the server. X windows remote display is a nearly dead technology, poorly supported, only in rare cases does the OpenGL work. Why are you trying to do this instead of using a modern desktop sharing protocol?
