[Chimera-users] Regarding Metal Fixing in Protein

Dear Amit,
You could select the metal ion (Ctrl-click on it) and then use Movement Mouse Mode (in menu under Tools... Movement).  In that tool, you would change mode to "Move selection" if you want to use the mouse to move the metal only.  To go back to moving the whole structure, change back to "Normal."

This will not necessarily make a reasonable structure... it will just leave the metal wherever you put it.
