[Chimera-users] Problems installing and running chimera on opensuse 12.1

The installer woks now (as of November 19th version), thank you. Unfortunately, the atoms are not getting displayed (I get black screen). I can change the color of the background, though:)

Sorry, I forgot to add that bzip2 is installed (v 1.0.6), I am not sure if the right libbz2 came with it. Running the earlier version of chiemra (September 14) brings up the GUI but the loaded molecules are invisible (the screen remains black).

Hi all,

I'm having problems after the opensuse (gnome desktop) upgrade to the 12.1 version. I can go on for hours how great this new gnome desktop is *NOT*, but that's not the main issue here.


During installation, the messages are as follows:

libbz2 error happens also during the run (I don't care much about icon problem).
