Okay, I implemented a simple tool for adding notes and it will show up  
in the next successful 1.7 daily build.  It's in the Utilities  
category and is call "Notepad".  It has a limitation right now in that  
if you quit after adding notes but without saving a session, you'll  
lose those changes without any notification.  I'll get around to  
improving that but it might be a little while.
