[Chimera-users] DNA atomic structure fitting with an envelope

Dear all,

James Stroud or Thomas Bishop webservices among others enable to create
a portion of DNA in the PDB format.

Is it possible in Chimera to import a mesh envelop (see image), the PDB
structure of the DNA portion and to force the DNA to fit with the
envelope (which has the length and the diameter of the DNA portion)?

Many thanks for your help

Damien

ps: As far I understand, the MDFF tool by Klaus Schulten allows to
conform a PDB structure to a mesh (interesting for cryoEM). I have not
tested it yet.
