[Chimera-users] Searching chimera-users archive

Hi Conrad,

   Searching the Chimera mail archives from the Chimera documentation 
web page does not work at all well.

I tried searching for "Beale" and it produced no results.

There is a message in August 2010 from John Beale.  If I search for that 
message using www.google.com (chimera "startup options" John Beale) I do 
get the message.  So it has been indexed.

   Some other revealing problems.  Searching the Chimera archives from 
the documentation page for "chimera" produces only 20 hits, all but 5 
are attachments.  Likewise a search for "windows" produces just 4 hits 
(one from 2005, one 2006, one 2007, one 2010).

   Obviously this isn't working.  Maybe we should remove the search 
field from the documentation until we have time to fix it because users 
(even ones who should know better like me) sometimes believe the search 
results that there are no archived messages on the topic.
