The Chimera computer hardware wiki page and links therein may be useful:

The "stereo display options" link is probably the most relevant.
It goes to a recent discussion on the chimera-users list.  Unfortunately
the archive messages are hard to read right now because long lines are
not automatically wrapped.  They are ultimately readable, but annoying.
