The various problems noted in the above are addressed in the next  
daily build:
	
1) Setting the "note" attribute immediately updates the model panel.
	
2) "setattr M" will set the attribute in all models (as opposed to  
"setattr m" or "setattr s" for molecule and surface models  
respectively).
