Sorry to come in late to this, but you might want to consider the w3dna
server from Wilma Olson's group:

   http://w3dna.rutgers.edu

It has a lot of procedures to construct models of DNA and DNA/protein
interactions, and the Olson group is particularly interested in nucleosomes.
This is not a "Chimera solution", but could be an approach to generate the
coordinates you need, that could then be loaded to make the figure you
describe.
