Hello,

We've have had one person mention a similar problem on a Vitsa laptop
computer, but we have been unable to reproduce it on our Vista systems.
Please file a bug report using our online bug submission form at
<http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docs/feedback.html>. And please include
what kind of computer, its model number and what kind of graphics it has.

If I had a computer that behaved like yours, I would try two things:
first, I'd try updating the graphics driver, and if it is a laptop with
Intel graphics, use the latest driver from Intel (Vista graphics drivers
are buggier than Windows XP drivers, so update often). If that didn't
work, I'd guess that chimera is somehow being affecting by another
program. So then I'd try disabling all of the startup programs using the
msconfig program and if chimera works after that, turn them back on one at
a time until I found the problem program.

Please file that bug report and please let me know what you figure out,
