Hi,

I use mapman to convert CNS or X-PLOR format to BRIX or DSN6 for reading
in chimera (I also have trouble opening CNS/X-PLOR formats in chimera
v1.2105). You can get mapman from the rave package:

ftp://xray.bmc.uu.se/pub/gerard/rave/rave_linux.tar.gz

I think he has versions for irix, osx, and alpha also. If you're on
windows you might want to try CCP4's windows version
(ftp://ftp.ccp4.ac.uk/ccp4/current/binaries/setup.exe). Supposedly this
includes a program called xdlmapman which is a graphical version of
mapman (see
