<html><head><meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body dir="auto"><div dir="ltr">Hello Émilie,</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You need to save as a session file, which, next time you open it, will bring back most things as you left them (saving as a PDB or a CIF file only saves atom coordinates, because this is what these formats are designed to represent).</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You can simply use the following command:</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">save /path/to/your/file.cxs</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">If you give the “save” command a file name ending with .cxs, it will know to save the entire session. Then double-click on this file, or open it with the “open” command in ChimeraX, to bring back your session as you left it.</div><div dir="ltr"><br></div><div dir="ltr">You can also adjust other things with options to the save command, but the defaults are good for most use cases.
