Two options are to allow https read-only access from our UCSF git repository or to move the source code to Github. Our plan has been to move to Github for the past year but no time has been devoted to it. We failed to make any progress on it at the last meeting because the people who need to agree were not all present.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""> A main purpose of ChimeraX is to enable many outside developers to contribute, so it is absurd that the source code is not accessible. I will continue to try to get a decision from the development team and hopefully this can be solved in the next 3 months.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Tom</div><div class=""><br class=""><div><br class=""><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On May 18, 2020, at 5:46 PM, Tom Goddard <<a href="mailto:goddard@sonic.net" class="">goddard@sonic.net</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" class=""><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Hi Dario,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""> ChimeraX is open source.
