So as the error message says the only fix is to get a graphics driver that works.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""> After a crash, the fact that ChimeraX won’t start is bizarre. The only thing I can think of is that when you restarted it used Intel graphics and your Intel graphics driver can’t even provide basic OpenGL (version 3.3) that ChimeraX needs. I don’t think that is right — every recent computer with Intel graphics supports OpenGL 3.3. I agree though that the problem is very likely to do with how your laptop manages the dual graphics.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""> One thing that may help you debug is to check which graphics card (Intel or Nvidia) ChimeraX is actually using. <div dir="ltr" class="">I am using a Dell Alienware 13 r3, which also has a GTX1050Ti, as a mobile VR notebook. It works fine with chimerax and the Vive Pro and does not crash. If I remember correctly, it was not enough to set the NVIDIA Optimus driver to use the GTX,
