We have a demo flying around collagen matrix and a dendritic cell. Unfortunately it would require a whole new user interface to actually do anything beyond flying around since menus, typed commands, mouse interaction, is all gone once you put on the Oculus. We have not tried any user interface other than flying. Maybe the best use of Oculus in molecular visualization for years to come will be flying around molecules and cells to get some inspiration. The value of that wears off after about 10 minutes of use, but it has been good for outreach to high school and college students the past year.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Tom</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><br class=""><div><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On Jan 7, 2015, at 8:40 AM, Andrey Malyutin <<a href="mailto:agmalyut@umail.iu.edu" class="">agmalyut@umail.iu.edu</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><div dir="ltr" class=""><div class=""><div class="">Good morning,<br class=""><br class=""></div>With recent resurgence in virtual reality technology, such as Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR, is it possible that we'll see support for VR headsets in future releases of Chimera? <br class=""><br class=""></div>Thank you,<br class=""><br class="">Andrey<br class=""></div>
